In a contest sponsored by EHS, students from grades 4 -8 in the Evesham Township School System submitted art works in multiple mediums to describe what the Declaration of Independence meant to them. The John Inskeep House is maintained as a house museum The oldest section dates to 1771 and is furnished as an early colonial home. The two 19th Century additions are more representative of that period. In addition to furniture our collection includes Native American artifacts and fossils discovered in Evesham, farming implement, tools and textiles. |
