The John Inskeep House is maintained as a house museum The oldest section dates to 1771 and is furnished as an early colonial home. The two 19th Century additions are more representative of that period. In addition to furniture our collection includes Native American artifacts and fossils discovered in Evesham, farming implement, tools and textiles.
Join Alex Robb, an interpretive program specialist with the Friends of Washinton Crossing Park tell of these very important battles. Cherokee seniors will be joining us in activities to maintain the Inskeep Homestead. They are always a great group and we are grateful for their support. Members and general public are always welcome to come help out.
Presented by Matt Skic, a native to New Jersey, received his undergraduate degree at the American University and his Masters at the University of Delaware. Bring your wife, mother, daughter or best friend to enjoy homemade teas sandwiches, scones and desserts all served on antique china in an elegant setting. Tours of the Inskeep House will be a available after the tea.
Join us at the Pic-A-Lilli for delicious food (did somebody say wings? ) and camaraderie. The outside dining area will be open and possibly live music.
